Comments: The log jam has shifted a bit and the rappel is now optional. There is a rock shelf DCR you can step down to and down climb into the creek, or a deep pool you can make an approx. 10ft jump into DCL. Water is cold and be mindful of being polite to the campsites you pass on the creek walk out. Also saw an otter on the logjam after swimming downstream a bit. He apparently thought my jump looked fun and followed suit before climbing back up and over. Good reminder we share the canyons and to be aware and respectful of wildlife.

Comment: Took the "shortcut route" in. New logjam has appeared not too far inside the entrance. Might be able to downclimb underneath it somehow, but was easier to just rappel off a log and drop back in. Fun to float along in the current through a beautiful narrows. Nice chaser just after running the Middle Fork just upstream.
