Comments: 2 star canyon, 3 star route. The packraft in and out of this canyon make it a good adventure! I brought my packraft, broke it down after crossing the lake and packed it through the canyon. My friend kayaked across, left his kayak at the approach, carried an ultralight packraft (barely more than a pool tube) through the canyon, and paddled the fancy tube back to his kayak, which was better suited for crossing the width of the lake. The hike up the hill was loose but short. The loose footing is even more evident after crossing the saddle - I slipped a few times hiking down the hill into the canyon. Put in new webbing at 2 out of 3 anchors. Second rappel has a slightly awkward start. Stepping back towards R3 made the pull super easy, no issues with the pinch. After R3, stay right moving towards the water and you'll land on a small rocky beach with room for 1-2 people to inflate packrafts.

Comment: Accessed via packraft. About 1h to R1 moving at a leisurely pace. Tons of wildflowers on approach, which was steep and loose. A couple tricky starts. Did not replace any webbing but did clean up some loose rock by R2. Short but pretty narrows and some interesting geology.

Comment: Took a canoe over, left it at the bottom of the canyon and convinced some fisherman to give us a ride around to the approach. Worked out well. Pool at the base of rappel #1 was about knee deep. Was a bit difficult to find a good place to leave the boat. Ended up having to bushwack pretty hard to get back to it at the end.
