Comment: Beautiful and scenic canyon! Definetely worth it! Water flows all year around cause comes out of spring. Did it with no shuttle and city car. Parked the closest as possible on the way out of the canyon. Walk on : 1h15 walk out : 1h15. Walk out difficult with the burning sun and no shade. This canyon is a real oasis in this dry land !

Comment: a really fun canyon with a good crew. some beautiful deep sections with fun raps. the lavadora (carwash is a super fun rappel straight down through a crack with roaring pounding water all around you. for us it was R5 so not sure if we combined rappels, downclimbed some of the rappels in the beta or dropped in lower. for the lavadora, our crew to set up a fancy system for protecting the rope from an edge maybe 15 or 20 feet down from the edge. I'm not sure it was necessary, as the edge didn't seem too sharp. use your best judgement. for the final rap (plan de limon), there are 2 rusted bolts LDC that look sketchy. we used a single bolt between those and the watercourse. we rapped from there to a hanging rebelay station maybe 10 feet over the lip. this was to avoid the sharp edge and pull. I felt that this was unnecessary as some good edge protection and plenty of rope to pull from further back would have done the job. 3 mm and a rainjacket were adequate but we all got pretty cold. a thicker suit couldn't hurt.
