Comment: The big headwall is beautiful. We used the anchors on the left and they were fine. The final station is in water but there's a little ledge so not as slick as expected. The team lead of the group behind us chucked his pack down, missed the rebelay bolts, and send a lot of rocks down. We had pulled the rope but had to get away quickly. Please be aware of how far this drop is and how easy it is to knock rocks loose on the wall.

Comment: A fantastic canyon! From the first rappel, you feel like you’re in a waterfall fairyland, rappelling with more waterfalls all around you. The big multipitch was awesome - unbelievable views. There was a random bolt on a boulder above the MC anchors… we didn’t use it and weren’t sure what it was for. It’s a tad spicy to access the first pitch of the multipitch from the MC pitch… if your team is proficient with VT Prusiks, it may be best to rig the MC pitch as a descending traverse line rather than a rappel, to prevent participants from penduluming as they approach the anchor of the first pitch. The anchor for the 2nd pitch is on a nice ledge out of the flow. The anchor for the 3rd pitch is hanging and in the flow. You could skip one of the pitches, but I think it’s rigged in a way that makes for the best rappelling experience. It’s important to move your party efficiently through this sequence to avoid the 3rd pitch manager and the people who are waiting at the bottom getting too cold.

The flow was barely a3 on our descent… maybe a2+. More water would have been nice, although much more would have made the multipitch unpleasant.

Definitely looking forward to doing this one again!
