Comments: Explored around the middle parking area under the bridge and went swimming (in wetsuits) in a pool directly under the bridge. Water flow is a total guess, but looks very sporty directly in any of the main falls. Directly below the bridge are various options for about 50 foot rappel to an intermediate level, still likely one rappel above the final waterfall. Above the bridge is another significant water fall, maybe 100 feet in height.

Comment: Seeing as I had scoped out the bottom and the top, this was my first run to connect all the drops together. It turned out that the lack of any good anchor to descend the 280 foot waterfall, meant that I had to find an alternative well off DCR of the watercourse. The anchor consists of 2 chock-stones and one knot chock. The pull line was bad because it was well back from the edge and the rope went into a V slot. Since I originally guessed the height at 200 feet, I proceeded down the drop on a 220 foot rope only to discover it did not make the bottom. Also, I had loaned my ascenders to someone else the day before, and I was not thinking I might need them for this drop. Ascending up an prusik loops would have been so much fun! I also (stupidly) should have taken a second rope when I rappelled down (to tie together and continue). Fortunately, I found a big upward facing horn about 200 feet down that made a great hanging rebelay station. And even though the pull was a "bitch" we did manage to pull the 220 foot rope from the bottom and had more rope to do the <100 foot rappel from the horn. Overall, even with the micro-epic of not having a 300 foot rope, it was only a 3.3 hour car to car run.
