Comments: Aborted, for reasons I believe are worth reporting. Hiked up to the “Option A” level, not wanting to throw hands with owls. No anchor at R1. Thought maybe I was in wrong spot, scouted west a bit, found a cairn anchor at top of next ravine over, set pretty far back from lip. Got the difficult pull I expected, and the cracks rap was prob more like 70-80. Advancing down this drainage, I reached the next drop. It had grooves forming, but no anchor. Looked like a good sandtrap spot, but I didn’t have mine on me. The next drop also had no anchor, but likely enough sand. Thankfully, I was able to class 4 my way up the fin between this and what turned out to be the real route. Took a good look around, still couldn’t find any anchor. Natural options are limited - it’s all super crumbly Navajo sandstone, eroding more into wafers than blocks. Decided that soloing this route without a sandtrap or similar gear would be unwise, and walked off. So come ready to build all anchors, as I can’t speak for the other 2.

Comment: Did an alternate approach from the top of the drainage which added 2 extra rappels. Fiddled these with a boulder for the first and a cairn for the 2nd. Rebuilt the last rap anchor in the canyon to get rid of the terrible rope pull from the 130ft rappel. This is now a ~65ft free hanging rappel into the alcove from a deadman anchor with webbing extended over the edge and courtesy rigging. Would highly recommend this route over the original anchor described in the beta on ropewiki.
