Comment: Just beautiful out there. Superbloom. More water than I’ve ever seen in the slot. I’ve done it before in less neoprene, but was (most of the time) glad to be fully covered on this trip. Unavoidable water persists at their level, so don’t switch out to your dry socks till you exit the canyon floor. Anchor webbing was solid. One anchor was just a short sling over a rock horn. As it’s at a pretty tame downclimb option, we went with it. Fine as long as pull direction is respected. Bad log soup in one spot described earlier this year has cleared.
