Comments: Didn't see an anchor for R1 and didn't realize the downclimb we did was R1 until we arrived at R2, seems like no anchor for good reason. All other anchors in great shape.
The larger drops are very friendly for beginners or height-averse rappelers to gain confidence with longer rappels. The start and pull for the final rappel could be made even easier by adjusting the anchor to a wrap 2 pull 1 higher up on the tree trunk when it's time to change that webbing out.

Comment: Awesome Halloween run with a bunch of friends in costume! All anchors were in good order, but I was surprised by the length of walk from R2 to R3. I followed the drainage but there was a route DCL as well. Fun long day with friends but unfortunately no chopper shots.

Comment: Stellar day along this route. The drops are very fun and the scenery is among the best in the region. The Choppers were buzzing but we missed our Chopper Shot.... next time!

Comment: Excellent day out, sadly no choppers present. Anchors were all good - 2 were bolts which are bomber and the other 2 w/ webbing were still in great shape.

Comment: Microspikes were handy for the several inches of snow on approach. A bit of flow moving through the canyon. Started late to capitalize on the snowmelt and we were quite cold in only rain jackets. Replaced webbing at R2. R4 anchor should be moved higher on the tree to enable a smoother pull and reduce environmental damage. I would have done it myself if I had any sensation left in my hands at the time.

Comment: A very fun route in Boynton with only a few raps, but each is very pretty. True to it's name we did get buzzed by several helicopters but failed to get our Chopper Shot.... perhaps next time. All anchors are in good condition with new webbing. Cougar Ledge was a great mini-siesta spot, highly recommend rambling over there before hitting the final rap.

Comment: Fun route! It took three of us a leisurely 5.5 hours with a side trip to the Subway and a long lunch on the cougar ledge. We replaced the webbing at R1; all other anchors were good to go.

Comment: Some webbing and rapides were removed, be sure to bring webbing, we did not replace R1 but two other parties followed and may have. Other sets of webbing are set and look good, bolt is solid.

Comment: All anchors are in good shape. Slight drips of water. The black sections are slippery around r3 (single bolt). I will change the rap beta length to 45' so the rope is on the ground. 4 hrs 9 min car to car. Mountain lion tracks around the pool at the bottom of the last rappel. Very cool

Comment: Just under 3 hours car to car. The fastest I've heard of this route being done. We made it to r1 in 1 hr 15 min. Route in 45 mins and exit just under an hour. All anchors looked good.

Comment: Time includes Chopper Drop and Mushroom Drops.
This is a great canyon to link with one of the others in the area. The raps are all very fun, lots of beautiful scenery and neat features in this one. After Mushroom Drops we went over to finish our day with Chopper Drop. Highly recommend!
