Comments: Stunningly gorgeous canyon with so many fun challenges!!
Approach 1.5hr.
First rappel we toggled off a large natural arch. Many of the raps were fun and of high quality. Most rappels we rigged with sand traps. There are many deep keepers requiring potshots or careful climbing/stemming to avoid.
There was one sequence of potholes/drops that we stretched out a 200ft rope, this was just before the big sequence. On the big sequence we toggled off a large rock horn and dropped my 350ft rope down, continuing past the large hanging pothole. I do feel this sequence could be easily broken up. I honestly suspect a 230ft rope would do the whole thing. After this drop is another rappel of 80ft and finally a the final rappel being somewhere around 150ft down a sheer wall.
We encountered a few shallow pools no more than thigh deep, no wetsuits needed.
This route was really fantastic can't wait to come back!!
