Comments: No anchors were found, so possible first descent. Easy shortie creek; nothing too remarkable. R2 is the real reason to run this one where the creek plunges into a 80ft slot. Would have been more fun with some more water. Probably better earlier in the season.

Comment: Visiting from Utah, I decided to do the old hike up to Cora Lake that I used to do as a kid. I brought my rope with me as even when I was little I thought it would be fun to descend through the creek. I figured the creek was pretty mild and would be a good transition from the desert canyons I am used to. I hiked up, swam around in the lake for a while and then headed down the creek. There are plenty of trees that can be slung for anchors so I didn't leave any gear. Though I did almost stick my rope on the log in Rap 2.
