Comments: After viewing the ratings of Corona Gulch (this "canyon") and Sativa Sunrise Gulch (adjacent "canyon"), I think the rating where swapped. Corona Gulch is awful with only one significant rappel (see pic) that can be bypassed. In fact I climbed up Corona Gulch and around that rappel in one hour. The bottom of the canyon is choked full of brush and plenty of poison oak. Above that rappel Corona looked no better so I split off on the ridge over toward Sativa Sunrise Gulch, which looks WAY better. Bottom Line: don't run this "canyon" unless you just love heavy bushwhacking, lots of poison oak, and crappy downclimbs.
