Comments: The first rappel was spectacular at this flow and canyon overall was better than anticipated. Plenty of brush and poison ivy throughout the watercourse, however it was all forgiving. Approach trail is faint initially but then well-marked by cairns. Replaced R1 webbing. Last person down pulled from the pool at the first stage and then downclimbed on canyon left due to concerns over a stuck rope - either in cacti / plants on the first stage or around the limbs of a large dead tree at the base of the second stage. Rebuilt R2 anchor, and then pulled from the first stage and rigged another rappel from a pinch point canyon left to (again) prevent potential rope retrieval issues. This time the force of the waterflow was pulling our rope down into two separate cracks.

Comment: Though the area is heavily burn damaged from the Frye Creek fire, the canyon is still choked with brush. Rebuilt both anchors.
