Comments: We did the north fork, which is not the same one that Scott Swaney's track shows. We had one total less rappel than he reported, so maybe the forks are similar? We only had to hike up to 4,000 feet; he hiked to 4,500' for the middle fork.
The canyon was narrow and carved in sections, and wide and impressive in others. It was defitinely worth hiking up 4,000 feet. Also, the approach hike was nice, just long.
