Comments: The canyon far exceeded expectations. Beautiful scenery, easy raps, fun stemming and super easy access. The first anchor is set quite far back and could be extended. All anchors were in good condition. R2 had thigh deep pools on both stages and R3 had knee deep water.

Comment: Fun, beautiful slot! Webbing has been replaced on R1 and R2. Consider using a fiddlestick on those anchors to reduce emerging grooves. There is a new deadman anchor for R3 with a contingency and sufficient extension to avoid rope grooves. If the last person on rappel ties off their device, they can easily downclimb until they weight the anchor.

Comment: Short & sweet. Only one knee deep pool at the second rap. Third "rappel" is an easy downclimb. Nice way to fill a couple of hours if passing through.

Comment: What a great little canyon! It clearly flashed recently, as there was lots of water and mud including one waist deep pool. There was an existing anchor for R1 but none for R2, so we slung some webbing off a chockstone pinch above the drop. Both stages of R2 are probably downclimbable, but no reason to take chances in such a remote location, especially in slippery conditions. The pull from the second stage was okay since our new anchor extended over the drop. We did downclimb / partner assist what we think was R3, as there was no anchor and no anchor-building material present. Presumably the rocks from any previous cairn anchor have been washed away. The exit was brushy and unpleasant, but short.

Comment: Completely dry. Moved R2 anchor from arch to pinch point. Got excited and pulled the rope too soon at R2, downclimbed the second stage which was a bit spicy towards the bottom. Replaced R3 webbing.

Comment: Ghosted all raps. Very scenic canyon with a lot to offer in a short canyon.
