Comments: Time is car to car and includes rebuilding of all anchors and stopping at Oak Creek along the exit to cool/rinse off. All existing anchor material was removed, replaced, and packed out (see attached picture for webbing condition). Some anchors were relocated.
R4 was a highlight - was able to avoid locusts completely by pushing off the wall near the bottom. Several fun downclimbs throughout the canyon. Pulls went smooth. A few decent rappels for a relatively quick and painless approach!
This is certainly a rugged and wild canyon. Thick brush slows navigation in some areas, hence the low quality rating. Still, an overall enjoyable experience and an adventure worth repeating.
