Comments: Great canyon! First time through. On the approach, which is public land and we are legally allowed to be there, we heard a truck coming and hid in the bushes while it passed. This may have avoided a confrontation with an angry local, or maybe it would have been a friendly local who wished us well. We'll never know. Safer to maintain a low profile.
Anchors are great, mostly bolted with new webbing and rings. No hydraulic hazards. Flow was maybe 'medium', reading 5.25 on the gauge at the end. Per USGS, this flow level is 'below average' for this time of year.
Great canyon, would repeat!
