Comments: The road to the trailhead was passable with a 2WD low clearance vehicle. I thought the approach to Flying Cactus was fun with some scrambling and boulder hopping. All the rappels were straightforward and had good anchors.

Comment: Had my eye on this canyon for a while because it is closer to my house than the Stateline Hills or Virgin River Gorge. Saw the update to this website with the route and decided we had to do it. GPS track for the route was spot on except it took us a little higher than necessary before entering the canyon. Replaced the webbing on all the anchors except the first. Almost got the rope stuck on the last long drop but moving slightly up the side of the canyon gives you a better angle. Make sure you check hand and foot holds during the downclimbs. The rock is very lose and easily gives way when you grab it.

Comment: First descent. Limited anchor options for several of the drops required some legitimate rock farming. Half our party just couldn't stay out of the cholla. The other half knew better.
