Comments: Fun descent of this drainage. First two raps were have some moderately rotten logs in the center of the watercourse. Down canyon rappels were fresh and at least 2-3 anchors were replaced. Final rappel is ideal for Fiddling but beware of throwing the pull cord as there is a ton of brush in the multi stage rap.
Following the KML was tricky and not immediately obvious which chute to go up. Ultimately we faced multiple scrambles (at least 3 sections) up loose/crumbly dirt, and one steep rock face. Handlines were anchored to trees and deployed from above as appropriate for safer travel.
It is best to keep the group traveling tight, as some sections had significant rockfall risk. After the scrambling, a moderately dense bushwhack uphill brought us back to the car.
Access road that day was not too rutted or boulder-filled and could be managed by a Subaru or potentially a 2WD Sedan
2.5 hour descent + 2.5 hour exit

Comment: Anchors were in good shape. Canyon was totally dry. Hiked to the Clover Creek / WCC confluence and cooled off in the pools. The exit: we attempted to follow the KML exit track very closely, but did not locate any well-traveled trail. Ended up on 4th class, borderline 5th terrain that was thick with brush and incredibly loose. Set two handlines in the gully near the top. It sounds like others deviated from the track and traversed left once things became more vertical. Exiting via WCC (from Clover to Point Trail) takes only about 2-3h and is much more pleasant alternative and infinitely less dangerous.

Comment: Beautiful, lush, green, and wild! A severely underrated canyon with a huge bank for your buck! We really enjoyed this one!!
Starting out in the forest drainage, the rappels came quick, one after another down beautiful moss covered walls. The drainage floor was full of young oak, was very green and pleasant. The canyon never felt like a bushwhack. Although the greenery was ever present, it was pleasant and friendly. Eventually the drainage opens up to sheer cliffs and the view was wonderful. Very cool narrow fault line at top of last rap running along wall to the left and drops down probably 100'!! Clouds were rolling in and a family of hawks screeching nearby as we made our final descent. The final rap is very picturesque with multiple sheer walls cut on different angles to push off and play on as you rappel. On the canyon floor we were again met with dense lush greenery that was soft and of no nuisance to wade through. Looking back you can see the other remarkable fault line with the four boulders stuck; each with a tree growing out of it! The hike out was on a well worn trail back into beautiful lush green forest, almost like something of a fairy tail. We quickly found the wall edge and followed it up as rain began to come down from the grey sky. The exit was very loose and steep but fairly short. We parked at the end of peninsula so we came right up on the truck as we reached the top. Overall a really lovely route, we enjoyed it so much that it felt like it took longer than it really did! Highly recommend for a half day outing!!

Comment: It's a drainage but not a canyon really. Kind of brushy and very little sculpting. A few fun raps though. Webbing for the lower raps was real fresh. upper stuff was less so but we went off them. Final rap you get pulled down into this crack that looks like it has rope-eating potential but we had no issues with the pull. We exited up the nose of rock east of the KMl track. We used the same route as the Shamrock upstream exit. A few class 4 moves but mostly easy class 3. I don't know what it looks like if you follow the exit route described here but it looked looser and brushier than what we did.

Comment: This was a fun little canyon. A good one for beginners with moderate athletic ability. We took my two kids down ages 10 and 7 as a reference. The repels are pretty straightforward one or two somewhat tricky starts for someone new. The last two repels have had their anchors extended to improve the starts and Aid in the rope pull.

Comment: Good half day canyon to do with kids and/or beginners. All the raps were straight forward, nothing too tricky. Be mindful of rope pulls/anchor set up. A step hike out with some route finding and bushwhacking. A decent option if you are in the area.

Comment: Actually a really great dry canyon to do in Arizona in June. Beginner friendly, rappels progress in challenge. Exit is steep, would recommend wearing helmets.

Comment: I'm new to canyoning and this was my third trip, but I loved this canyon. It was easy to access and the rappels increase in distance progressively so your joy builds with each rap. The worst part was the hike out, but I think we bushwacked a more difficult route out than is described on here. It took us an hour to scramble out of the canyon and get back to the jeep. If your in the area this is definitely worth your time.

Comment: Quick and dirty - totally dry. A few half-way scenic drops, but nothing approaching narrows. A decent option if you are in the area and are looking for something short and dry. Anchors in good shape. Some route finding on the exit, which is steep and brushy, but short.
