Comments: Halloween canyon! One week of rain and back to fun level (moderate to mod-low), but cold. Team member in drysuit was the happiest. Fun shortie outing in the Olympics. Replaced anchor at R2 as bacon is always better on the breakfast table. Used nearby Interrorem Cabin as basecamp.

Comment: Full Fulton was fun and totally worth running. We went a day early to scout the lower exit and work on the trail. We found a game trail and did a lot of cutting and cleaning up. The exit is steep and way less bushwacking than the original beta. I'll update the kml map. I wore a shorty wetsuit with a rain jacket and was fine with temp. Our time was 1.5 hours for upper Fulton and 4.5 hours middle, lower, and exit. Total was around 6 hours.

Comment: A lovely canyon. The bolt on R1 is in good condition. We replaced the webbing on R2 and R3, and moved the R2 anchor to a different spot, to the root ball of a tree, to make it a cleaner pull. There are spots for some optional short jumps at the bottom of R1 and R2, check the depth as it is not very deep. The bottom of R2 could has an undercut at the far end of the pool, which could be a problem in higher flow. Great day overall.

Comment: Ran Upper Fulton prior to an exploration of the lower part of the creek. New shortcut route is nice and drops you in just above the technical section. A new tree has fallen across the creek atop R3 which makes for a much better anchor in a non-exposed position. The rappel itself is slightly longer. Beta has been updated. Water was low, but still fun. We continued on down the creek to run Lower Fulton.

Comment: Excellent half day canyon approximately equal distance from Portland and Seattle. Be aware of dirt bikes in the area. Easy entry, no shuttle required, rough exit up a steep hillside through overgrown slash cut debris. Very slick creek snot walking with many knee deep holes so watch your ankles. Lots of floating, small jump spots along the canyon. Handline recommended for final rap.
