Comments: 4 hours car to car. At a quick pace. Couldn't find first sling so entered canyon from river left. (Opposite above photo) Using tree. A little further on was another tree abseil (no sling) Next was a single bolt river middle. Following we found a sling with two Maillon. Stayed on abseil till past tricky boulders. Lots of scrambling over boulders to arrive at Gap Creek falls. Centre line blue sling with Maillon. Couple of deep pools otherwise fairly low. Cold enough for a wetsuit Note: we were moving at a quick pace without stopping. Can see this taking 6hours or longer depending on fitness level. Water was cool to cold.

Comment: Exploring with the knowledge that it had been done before, but no track notes to go off.

Took a very leisurely 8 hours but definitely could have been done in more like 6 hours.

Water was surprisingly cold, we were glad to have wetsuits even though it was close to a 30c degree day.

Couldn't find an anchor to enter the canyon as it was beginning to get constricted so added a new orange webbing and mallion to a tree. Came across an anchor to abseil into a pool not long afterwards.

Replaced multiple pieces of old anchor on wet line of main falls with blue webbing and mallion. All tat had been there 5+ years ago when a party member had abseiled just the falls and already looked old then.
