Comments: It's a good "had some time to kill" canyon. Don't make it the only reason to drive to the Virgin River Gorge unless you have beginners with you. We did it since we were in the area doing Portal and Cherry and it was near our campsite. All anchors are bolted, probably because there are/were so many people hiking in there and they may destroy any other type of anchor. There was a lot of trash in there.

Comment: A few shallow, avoidable pools. Road was dry and in good condition but high clearance was helpful in a few places. Very scenic area.

Comment: All the anchors were in good shape. There was one pool that looked chest deep that we were able to scramble around. Fun canyon if you’re in the area.

Comment: Nice little easy-access canyon. Good stop-over between LV and Zion.

Comment: All raps bolted with chains and in good shape.
Dry, short, easy rap canyon that is great for beginners. Also great canyon to practice natural anchor technique as several options are available at each rap. GPS coordinates confirmed as accurate. There was some trash in canyon, namely several car tires (>10) someone is using as a dumping ground.
