Comments: I would have rated this canyon higher if it weren't for how loose everything was in the upper portion (above R2). Found this section pretty uncomfortable and the downclimbs sketchy. Once the canyon gets rolling it's pretty great though. Lots of beautiful raps on wonderful sculpted bedrock. Lots of gneiss. All anchors were in good condition except for the first. We downclimbed two drops that had old webbing.

Comment: Perfect weather, beautiful flowers, greenery in the canyon, tiny potholes full of water. We checked anchors but knew the canyon had been run the day before.
