Comments: Amazing as always! Did a quick run in the heat if the day which made the cold water feel great. Was interesting to see some of the changes with more slides and some filled in.

Comment: Excellent conditions, enough flow to be fun, but not overly pushy. New anchors are great. As noted in earlier trip report days earlier, be careful if sliding R3/S3 and stay right in watercourse to avoid contact with the DCL wall (especially under the waterline).

Comment: WARNING ON S3/R3 Person in our group struck wall DCL causing severe injury on R3/S3 of RW beta. While sliding R3/S3, second person down left leg struck a part of the DCL wall under the waterline with heavy impact. Remainder of group slid farther right (didn't know about injury until everyone already down). Wrapped up injured leg and evacuated through exit just after R4. Xrays on ER visit revealed broken leg from impact as anticipated (now in aircast and healing). I ran a few days later to reexamine R3/S3 more definitively and discovered DCL wall is not totally vertical/smooth and has some small deformations causing steps/ledges/obstructions under the waterline if a body part were making contact (especially at speed since second half of the slide is basically a drop before entering water). If sliding you MUST slide farther right near right edge of the watercourse. Note: prior beta suggests depth is only 6-7' deep but nobody else touched bottom (only impact site was DCL wall).

Comment: Great day in hager. The big slide goes. 2nd to last drop also goes. Water was chilly but not bad. Ran into another team of 3 and merged forces.

Comment: Decent canyon with quick approach/exit.
Canyon is very short with shallow carved walls. Doesnt have the epic grandiose vibe of some of the others nearby. Very much a “waterpark” style canyon with a few jumps and slides if you are into that kind of thing. Raps are all just okay, not very memorable.. 5/4 wetsuit was plenty warm. We took the early non shuttle exit as we were told it is much quicker than the longer creek walk/shuttle option. Trails are all nicely cut in, no bushwack

Comment: Amazing day in Hager! Drop slide instead of R1 is great but land flat.

Comment: Baller full run of hager as last day of swift water training. Pools are huggy and spinny but easily escapable with adequate neoprene and decent technique. Half of us wore drysuits, the other half wore medium/thick wetsuits and splash tops. No one got *too* cold but all were grateful to the guides for increasing the pace from instruction/scenario mode to team/gtfo mode when we hit lower hager as chills were beginning to creep in. Amazing, in a sad way, to see the massive landslide now complicating the exit from lower. Sending confidant scramblers ahead to set a hand line is helpful.

Comment: Great day!
Note: the flow was high but still a4. The upper section and exit have changed quite a bit. No log at the big opener slide, but it’s actually easier and more fun without the log. Debris has cleared from the pool and pothole below the opening slide, and R1 now goes as a slide! A very forceful slide, and only a few tested it, some of whom touched bottom lightly (its bedrock) so slide at your own risk. The low-angle bumpy slide at the end of the upper section is now a log downclimb. All slides were checked and clear for sliding/jumping except the narrow recirculating pool above the dance floor - the team used the traverse line to bypass that pool, so that has not been checked A large landslide at the exit makes the original exit impassable. Recommendation is to continue one more rappel and a few short drops, and take an exit canyon left that sustainably takes you to the established trail.

Comment: Hager today was cold!! Bring neoprene caps and gloves. Hydraulics were in play.

Comment: Water levels are still pretty low, but all the slides and jumps are still super fun. The hydraulics are all gentle and playful at this time, but that'll probably change pretty quickly when the rain comes in this week. Overall a great day if a little chilly as always in Hager. Don't forget that extra neoprene or rain jacket for this one.

Comment: Great day running Hager for the first time. We were in 3/4mm suits and were feeling the cold despite it being a fairly warm day.

Comment: We had a great time playing in the Hager water park. All the slides/jumps were in. The dance floor was so fun we climbed back up it to do it again since it wasn't slippery at all.

Comment: Amazing day in Hager after some rain charged the creek up a little bit. Nothing scary, probably just more fun! All the slides and jumps are in good shape. Several of us slid the whole Dance Floor! Hopefully the beta for that will get updated soon.

Comment: Time reflects upper, middle, and lower. First time through the canyon - spent a fair amount of time taking photos, depth checking pools, etc...beautiful canyon! Very cold water. We all had 5+ mm setups and were still a bit chilled at times (we also descended the canyon in the evening and air temps today were lower than average for this time of year).

Comment: This was the 2nd half of a Davis-Hager run. All slides/jumps in the beta are good. We did temporarily stick our rope on the log at R2 but recovered it. If not pulled quickly as the rope exits from the quicklink, the rope will drop into the log and get stuck. We recovered the cut rope of another teams at that same spot so take care on the pull. At R12, the 2nd deviation accessorry cord is starting to show wear. We didn't have any accessorry cord on us so the next team to come through should examine and consider replacing this. All other anchors are in good condition.
