Comments: Great day in the canyon—first known descent by rope. We measured the rappels and updated the beta. The route is physically demanding with a fair amount of boulder-hopping and scrambling, so be prepared for some effort. There's poison oak.
After exiting the canyon, we camped by the river. The next morning, we made our way upriver back to Escondido Camp. Lots of poison oak along the river but that's unavoidable in Los Padres.
