Comment: Our 9-person group started at the same time with a 5-person group at the trailhead. Went up the wash and back down the trail on the left. All anchors are in good condition. Good outing for a morning. 3-4 hours max for a 5-6-7 person group.

Comment: Good weather and conditions. All anchors are good except anchor 3 (had a 6mm quick link with a single wrap which was fine for us but might need to be replaced with a larger one for trade routes). Didn’t stay on the right hand trail going up to the canyon so got stalled with some bouldering problems on the approach. Lots of downclimbing while in the course made this one a fun/tricky one but good on a cool day.

Comment: 4 possible raps total, but they can all be downclimbed if you are very skilled. There is a trail on the right-hand side as you approach just above the dry creekbed. Trash everywhere as you begin the hike. We did find a young desert tortoise - easily the highlight of the canyon for me.
