Comment: Start is over a lot of rough and crumbly sediment offering a few short jumps. Technical section had some 2 great slides and some fun jumps. Lots of nice scenery in the middle. Water color is beautiful. Flow was low, meaning a 2+ km dry hike between the last long swim and the river, where the last toboggan is. Last toboggan was at a popular swimming hole on the river and into shallow water with sediment, but still good. Exit hike out up the river is easy and mellow.

Comment: Water seemed on the lower side. There are some fixed lines to bypass several of the bigger drops if you look around. Might be better to turn these into rappel stations in the interest of not leaving fixed ropes in canyons.

Comment: a fun canyon with beautiful hallways and amazing clear blue-green water, but it does include some serious river slogging. the map shows the canyon continuing all the way up to the confluence with Rio Adjuntas but there was probably an hour of river walking and swimming before this. we avoided the janky looking handline soon after the start and rigged our own out of a cool cave. we were glad we brought a short rope. The slanted slab for the cube wasn't slippery and you don't have to jump out very far.

Comment: Best named canyon ever! No rappels, but plenty of jumping. Finishes off with a very long swim through a great narrows.

Comment: I already had my gear cached at the start of the canyon, so after caching my gear, I headed down with a light pack. The route started with a bang. A considerable jump with some more to follow. There was only one spot I used a hand line. It was a 2m downclimb between some boulders. The rest of the route was jumps. I never even took the cord out of my pack.

The section that followed was nice, but not really canyoning. Mostly creek walking with the occasional jump or slide. Some nice travertine formations. There was one nice constriction in around the middle of the route. But all in all I was a little disappointed. Once you reach río Adjuntas there is a quad trail you can follow back to Las Adjuntas. There were some ppl camped there. Walked the road back to Potrero Redondo. Dark just as I arrived. 7hrs if include Rd walk.
