Comments: It looks like locals may visit some of the trail-side falls occasionally, but, otherwise, no signs of other visitors were encountered, so this may be a FD. We had low expectations, so were pleasantly surprised at what a nice little creek it turned out to be. Pretty much an ideal creek for beginners and almost worth a visit alone just to see the bedrock. Would have been more fun with some more water -- need to visit earlier in the year next time. A worthy day out.

Comment: Returned to lower HT with a friend new to canyoning. All the anchors were in good shape, since we just paced them all last month. We exited above R13. A short bushwhack uphill DCL brings to you to a road grade and an easy trail to the top of the ridge. After that swack out via the same directions in the canyon description.

Comment: No other anchors were found, so this was probably a first descent of Lower Hinkle. Found a nice trail leading from the road pretty much right to the top of R8. Quite a bit of woody debris in the lower canyon. Bushwhack out was relatively easy.
