Comments: There is only one spot that has water. This is the very last 5 feet of the canyon before it opens to the exit. The water is avoidable but if you walk in it, it is only shin-deep.
Beta lists two raps, however, there is a spot earlier in the canyon that has a sling on a horn for a short, 15 foot rap. It would be very difficult to downclimb this spot. The anchor is precarious, too. The horn only exist because a slit has been sawn into the sandstone creating the horn. You have to swing out on this anchor but it is possible to do this without dynamically loading the anchor.
Webbing on the other anchors was in good shape.

Comment: Decent canyon for practicing and learning down climbs/stemming. Somewhat pretty but others prettier in the area. There was some water in canyon that was challenging to avoid at the end but avoidable. We took the typical exit up gully back to car, wasnt bad

Comment: Did this after Hog 2. There's one sandstone-crack anchor that's getting worn down on a short rappel in the first half of the canyon. The group members with less squeezing and steaming experience felt quite sick of squeezing and steaming by the end.
We finished hog1 right as the sun set and did most of the exit at night. If you find yourself in the same situation (or think you will have trouble navigating), I recommend doing the slick rock climb exit between hog1 and hog2 if you have someone who can do the climb and belay others. Even though that exit adds extra flat ground walking time, it seems overall easier as the ascent is condensed to the start.

Comment: Tight canyon, plenty of PG stemming. Large storm came through the night before causing the day to see a high of 35F give or take. Sandbagged about half of the group - separated after Hog 1 while myself and a team did Hog 2. The people exiting the canyon got stuck on the sketchy four class exit while the more experienced team enjoyed Hog 2.

Comment: drive has sandy spots that used 4wd mode, several tight narrow sections not mentioned by others, folks added webbing for lots of other raps so rappel count may vary, exit gully up climbing on some crumbly rocks
