Comments: Quick run of Hog 2. No water or mud present. Anchors in decent order but could use a little attention. Due to time constraints we only fixed a few knots on the last rap. One anchor could uses better knot work but all anchors have good webbing.
On approach we did not find the trodden path in and, on exit, only found it for part of the way. Slogging over sand was not ideal and cost us a time hit. The RoadTripRyan tracks are generalize so following them, like we did, didn't start us off on the well trodden track. The RopeWiki tracks are likely to be better.
We did the shortcut/climbers exit up the nose between Hog 1 and Hog 2. I do wonder if the standard exit would have saved time or not, though.

Comment: Great hog! Did the loop to do hog 1 after finishing hog 2 and took the slick rock exit between the two.
We finished our second hog right as the sun set and did most of the exit at night. If you find yourself in the same situation (or think you will have trouble navigating), I recommend doing the slick rock climb exit between hog1 and hog2 if you have someone who can do the climb and belay others. Even though that exit adds extra flat ground walking time, it seems overall easier as the ascent is condensed to the start.

Comment: More experienced party included myself dropped Hog 2 instead of returning to camp. Not as action packed as Hog 1; though the elevator at the end of Hog 2 was memorable. Tight, corkscrew squeeze (headlamp needed) followed by a drop onto loose sand. Even some of my more seasoned group had trouble committing to the drop. After completion, we followed the easy exit while I tried to convince one of my friends to not go to med school out of state.
