Comments: La Mano de Mierda begins with a short hike up from the road. The upper section offers some good rappels and is lush and beautiful. However, upon entering the lower section, we encountered a terrible odor, likely caused by raw sewage from nearby homes. We navigated through the narrows and quickly exited the canyon near a logging camp. We drove down to El Chiflon to wash off. The lower section is not recommended!
