Comments: This is a great canyon with fun little slides and some great waterfall rappels. We dropped in a little later than the sneak approach (which looks completely overgrown) and found. a very nice easy route by crossing along the open meadow and heading stright towards the watercourse staying parallel to the drainage on the right that descends to meet Lewis. This route added a really nice waterfall rappel. We only encountred one sling on a tree, which with the ater levels was not a good location (on the top of the lower waterfall at the two stage.). We rappelled from the tree at the top and went down in one rappel. We built two cairne anchors, one of which failed. Luckily no one was hurt, but it was a scarey incident. There was a massive boulder sitting on top of a smaller rick and we elected to sling the smaller rock. During the second persons rappel the smaller rock popped out of place. We decided that the ground under it had shiffed, as the weight of the larger rock was not affected. We rebuilt the anchor by slinging the larger boulder. This rappel is also a two stage with pools at the base of each. This canyon also could really use bolts in a few places as we had to bypass with walk arounds many waterfalls that would have made excellent rappels.

Comment: We did the early drop-in approach, which was a very reasonable hike and bushwhack. The anchors placed out of the watercourse were already present (though some were constructed of cord and carabiners?). We spent some time messing with fiddlesticks and hanging out by the exit, so this route could be done in 3 hours no problem.
