Comments: Thrashed up and dropped in just above R9. Lots of blowdown in the creek post-fire. Beware the rope-eating crack at Lindsey Falls. Continued on down Lower Lindsey. Looks like someone cleaned most of the anchors in there (?). Improved the anchor situation at R14. Nice chill day.

Comment: Lower Lindsey is a good one for a rainy day. Water levels were great and splashy. Bit pushy in spots, but not too bad. A fun day out. We parked at Defiance and hiked the bike trails. Usually I've bushwhacked up from the mouth of Lindsey to the powerline, but instead we opted to hike the bike trail and go up via the powerline access track. This option eliminates some thick bushwhacking and avoids the poison oak. Very nice.

Comment: Ran Lower Lindsey which was unaffected by the fire. Nice short one for a rainy day and surprisingly good flow this late in September. Nice mini narrows, fun obstacles and falls. An enjoyable romp. We ran Cabin Creek too en route back to the trailhead.

Comment: Hiked up Lindsey Ridge and dropped into the upper canyon. Flow still moderate in early August; this creek seems to run high much of the year. Might have been good to do a guided rappel on R8 given the potentially dangerous logs right in the flow. Beware the rope eating cracks around the chockstone on Lindsey Creek Falls proper. Might be good to try to wedge a branch in there to keep the rope out of the crack when it's under load. Exited after the main falls as it was getting late in the day. Came back a week later to run Lower Lindsey -- which is pretty much a C-level water park.
