Comments: Biked in then hiked. Went up and back until the drainage opened up into a boring open canyon. Swam at the crack afterwards. Great combo for the day.

Comment: Approached and exited via bikes. After an excessively dry fall and winter, the canyon was mostly dried up with only a couple wades up to waist depth.

Comment: Beautiful narrows. Several deep wades and multiple cold swims. Just a trickle of flow. Downclimbed around the one short drop on canyon left fairly easily. Jumped in Wet Beaver at The Crack on the way out and water was substantially warmer. Saw only one person on Bell Trail as I exited. May have seen more on approach, but I *accidentally* hiked Long Canyon Trail (most of which is not a trail FYI) several miles to the head of the canyon and descended the full length of the drainage. Ended up being a 15 mile day. Should have probably read the approach beta in advance - whoops!

Comment: Explored this canyon a few years ago - used retrievable anchors in a few spots just because I had hauled the gear out there, but you may be able to downclimb that one short drop, or set a simple handline vs bringing a full array of technical gear. Found the narrows to be okay, mostly shallow and open, but Long Canyon itself is a nice area.
