Comments: Plenty of poison oak. Bolted the big rap, now a 100' free hang in the first of two falls. Jose Creek still running very high.

Comment: Flow fairly high and water was fairly cold, combined with poor weather: 50s, overcast and off-and-on rain, made for pretty poor day. The poison oak has grown in thick, and some areas are overgrown with blackberry thorns. Half of us shivering, team bailed off canyon right just before the big waterfall at sunset, then scrambled down the brushy hill to a very late exit in the dark.

Comment: First descent.

Late start: 13:30 at bridge at top. Lots of bushwhacking (some in thorns) and plenty of PO budding out. This will be a real mess in a month. Recommend descent in early Spring before Jose is safe to run and PO takes over. More raps than Jose do make this appealing.
