Comments: Replaced webbing at R1 and R3. Canyon was initially underwhelming but quickly turned into an enjoyable and surprisingly aquatic descent with a number of jump opportunities and interesting geology. Lots of canyon frogs, and went for a pleasant swim with a giant desert centipede.

Comment: No flow in the canyon; many pools but all were avoidable. Bypassed the one drop that would have been a swimmer - never got more than our feet wet. Rebuilt most of the anchors. Canyon would be nice with good flow. Easy to combine with Romero Canyon as a two day trip - we did Romero day one, camped above Romero pools (there are a few small camp sites left of the trail just past the pools) descended Montrose day two.
