An obvious water course just west of the mushroom drops 2nd rappel. It is important to not mistake these routes as they are in close proximity to each other. Mushroom Drops has a 200' rappel, whereas the largest rappel on Mushroom trip is under 100'.
Beginners will have a hard time with the Crack rappel (R2). I wouldn't reccomend either of the Mushroom routes for beginners. Experienced Canyoneers may question whether the 3 rappels are worth the effort with ponderosa and Mushroom drops close by. It may be a worthy add on or link up for those in the area.
Bring webbing. Route could use some more attention. I replaced the missing R1 anchor. For a short multi tiered alcove system this one has character.

Comment: Time is doing Slingshot and Mushroom Trips combo. For Mushroom Trips, no anchor set up on first rappel, used fiddlestick. Rappel two is definitely tricky, solid rappel skills a must. I double-stranded this rappel and definitely saw possibilities of getting a rope stuck. Rappel three no anchor found, setup new anchor on small tree bunch near main drainage and back. Remeasured rappel as 80' with anchor set about 40' from drop. No pull issues on rappel three. Mushroom Drops is probably a little cooler having a bigger rappel, but Mushroom Trip is more challenging with rappel number two.
