Comments: Quick little two rap jaunt with easy exit. Left a fixed rope for the big rap and retrieved during the hike out

Comment: Parked at the 4WD lot. Skipped Lower Lake Fork and made a quick run through Mystic Falls. Current flow is perfect IMO. Easy/quick approach and exit hikes make for a high payoff. Was very comfortable in only a rain jacket.
An Upper Lake Fork & Mystic Falls combo seems like it would also be a great variation. | |||||||

Comment: Was planning to solo both of these; ran into friends while retrieving my rope from Lake Fork and ran Mystic as a team of 3. Waterflow in Lake Fork is quite low and one could probably get away with neoprene socks only, but you will want a wetsuit for the short but freezing pool at the base of Mystic.
Fall colors are beautiful right now!
