Comments: 10 hours car to car exiting the 19 Mile Route.

North Canyon is beautiful once you're down into the Supai. The most stunning part is the area near the pool and the chute accessible easily from the river. The single rap involves a steep and slippery down climb into a shallow pool (possible to keep your feet dry if you don't slip). Retreat from this point would be a challenge without a hand line but not impossible. The pool after the chute was the most amazing color green and roughly waist deep. We waded across with no cold water protection.

We hiked at river level to the 19 Mile Route at low water and were able to stay dry to whole way. The exit is very loose and it's important people are conscious of being out of the fall zone as people above them advance upwards. There was some minor route finding required to get through the Coconino.

A great route but the highlights can be easily seen as a short, non-technical hike on a river trip.
