Comments: Flow estimate 7-8 cfs for Upper.
We took Dorst approach, whose only interesting feature was a jump from a slippery (risky) jump point. Bolts for a handline would be nice.
Breaking the upper canyon into two days should be considered normal and challenging. Anyone trying to get to Redwood Creek in a single day should be hiking pre dawn and pushing efficiently through the canyon. Stashing a car at Cherry Flat is almost mandatory given the previous two trips we have done.
Weather and flow were awesome! Bolts all intact.
We bivied at 36.623868,-118.879934 which was a great site for a big group, and we continued down Lower the next day.

Comment: Chilly trip. Stony Creek + Upper N Fork. Did much of the canyon in fog. Reached standard bivy site at dark. Rainy and 30s overnight made for an awful bivy. No flow issues, but do this canyon in warmer weather.

Comment: Probably wouldn't want to do it any higher
