Comments: Our group had obtained special permission from ZAC, one of the owners of the land accessing the approach. I do not recommend trying to poach this canyon. Please find a way to do it without trespassing.

The anchors are all well maintained. Our group's time is a rough estimate to the MIA exit. Myself and one other person continued down lower Kolob to overnight in the Zion Narrows at camp 8. It was a long day but I never hestitate to do that again. There are a few small drops in lower Kolob, and the anchors are very old and sketchy. I wouldn't expect that to change anytime soon.

Comment: We obtained special permission from the land owner to descend this canyon and ascend the Via Ferrata. Please do not descend without permission.

Canyon is flowing nicely! 3/2 wetsuit with splash jacket was comfy for me. No swims.

Beautiful features similar to nearby Boundary. Fun rappels, big walls, nice narrows, but over all too soon!

Via Ferrata took us 40 minutes to ascend.
