Comments: We were really impressed with the polished limestone rappels in the upper canyon (first 8 raps or so). The terminal narrows below the confluence with Troll Canyon were beautiful and fun. Occasional views through the canyon of Eureka Dunes. The approach is about an hour on alluvial fan, followed by an ascent through some cliff bands.
Other groups would be faster. I'm still recovering from foot surgery and have to take prolonged breaks to elevate my foot.
We had light rain and hail on and off in the afternoon, followed by steady rain that started as we were taking off our gear and continued until a few hours after we got back to camp.
