Comment: The water keeps dropping in Pin. It looks like water in the pool before R1 might be draining out through a new syphon. I usually swim this pool but could tiptoe across today. The creek is really slippery with some raps being hip slide only for less experienced canyoneers.

Comment: Fun as always. Measured the height of the diving board. Some will be disappointed to learn that it is a 'mere' 25' from the top of the log to the water line. Does not in any way take away from how fun this jump is!

Comment: Water is low but most jumps are still in. Skip the jump at R5 (in the beta). Anchors are all still super solid. R6 is great right now for new canyoneers. Getting over the lip of the last rappel is safe but heady for inexperienced people. The creek walk out is almost totally dry.

Comment: Not much has changed from the 8/3 report. Anchors are solid. Canyon is still in fun mode.

Comment: Water levels are dropping. I would avoid jumping R2 at this time. R1, R3, R4 (diving board) and R5 jumps are still doable. R6 is in good, splashy conditions for newer canyoneers.

Comment: Great canyon, just wish it was longer. R2 can now be jumped from a fallen tree that acts as a diving board in the middle of the falls. Have at least one person rap and check depth, naturally.

Comment: Flow is in fun mode!! All jumps are good…nothing new in the pools near the landing zones. R2 webbing for inflow was MIA and I didn’t have any QL’s so rigged a retrievable there. The last rap in current flow is super duper fun. Also I think a new log sticking up on the last R…looks like if needed could be pulled out away from the falls but not really in the way just an eye sore.

Comment: What's not to love? We took our time and splashed around in the pools. Lovely day out, very mellow and beautiful creek. Minimal haze from wildfire on Mt. Adams.

Comment: Great canyon for a sunny day. Spent a lot of time just enjoying ourselves at the diving board playing around, setting up a rope swing and relaxing in the sun, hence the long run time.

Comment: Fun time, most jumps were plenty deep. Did a few diving board laps before getting out of the way of the next group coming through. Jumped from middle of first rap and the 2 other mandatory raps, otherwise everything was easily jump able

Comment: The hanger has been replaced on the DCL anchor on rap 4 into the Punchbowl.

The mid-creek boulder on rap 6 is gone and has been replaced by a cairn.

Comment: Ride-along with CCGs. Helped clean up branches from some fallen trees which were blocking the anchor on R4. The canyon is in much better shape now. Flow is perfect.

    Comment: Replaced R2 webbing.

R3 pool is clear for jump. R4 cleared all brush around DCR anchor and approach. Cleared enough to see DCL anchor - one hanger is missing, did not get a chance to inspect bolt. Will try and check it out tomorrow. Punchbowl is clear all jumps in. Log that was spanning the pool far DCR magically levitated and moved 10 feet closer to the falls, its a better jump perch now. Pool/corridor at R5 anchor now has two large boulders in it. Giant log that spanning the chute at the entrance to the creek is now spanning the creek below R5. Large boulder that was bolted creek center for R6 is now gone. DCL anchor good. DCR line looks to have some loose rock.
