Comments: Biked in from the power station and then hiked up Ken Burton. The trail has been restored since the last report. Technical section of canyon was okay with a few run-of-the-mill rappels and downclimbs. The canyon has gotten filled with canyon kelp since the last report was written, from about halfway through the technical section to halfway through the exit. This is extremely dense stuff that was a constant struggle to move through (special challenges). Also note that the last rappel occurs a good portion into what is called the exit on the KML.

Comment: 10.4 hours was for both Nerf Herder Canyon and Pine Canyon exiting at the power station. Technical canyon section had surprisingly little brush. Non-technical exit part of the canyon was awesome -- very wide, flat, and nearly brush-free. Very easy exit. Ken Burton trail is non-existent for the first 260 vertical feet but gets very nice around 2700ft elevation. The exit is only 500ft of gain, but that's a killer at the end of a longish day.
