Comments: Remote, Wild, and Amazing!

This route was a great adventure starting from Devils Chasm TH. The road is passable to the Pueblo canyon trailhead and we could have easily shaved 2 hours of hiking off, but the road was nice and the views were fantastic, so whatever. 8 miles starting and ending at Devils Chasm.

Cool surprises all along this route.

On 11/14/21 a stock Subaru hatchback made it to the Devils Chasm Th without issues.

Most Anchors were replaced by NClegg with bomber cairn anchors!

Looking forward to doing this route again in the spring.

Thanks Fd team for this canyon.

Thanks Nick for updating all of the beta for the lower portion, Building all of the anchors, going first, and for keeping us alive.

Zero pull issues. Water avoidable or minimal. Bring extra socks.

Highly Reccomend. Bring webbing, but enjoy those downclimbs!

Comment: So pretty. Did it in 6 raps. Moved the anchor at r2 to a pinch point in a secret rabbit hole chamber accessed RDC. Cairn is gone! One of the later cairns we moved to a pinch LDC. Whoever set this canyon up was really into cairns ;)

Time includes checking out amazing ruins. That road in sucks.

Comment: Incredible canyon! We completed both upper and lower sections in one day. See my condition report on the other Pueblo Canyon page that details the full route.

In my opinion, for the time and effort it takes to get to the TH, it is definitely worth completing the full route, and very doable in a single day.

Comment: Time for loop starting at Pueblo Canyon TH was about 5.5 hours (canyon only - not including a hike along the ruin spur).

Two back-to-back unavoidable knee deep pools in the long hallway after R5. All rappels can be done outside of the watercourse in low flow conditions.
