Comments: Canyoneers on ice! This is one of the most slippery creeks I've visited in the Pacific NW. Even canyon-specific footwear comes up short here. Dropped into the creek above the bridge and headed down through the most interesting section. Probably one of the best slides near Portland on the terraces. The big drop was kicking off some serious flow. Would be fun to set an anchor to run the flow although it should be unobtrusive as this area is clearly visited by locals. Creek-walking down to the lake was a bit tedious; we had to stop and dunk in the pools occasionally to cool off. Found a much better exit along an old track that climbs back up to the powerline. Short stint of bushwhacking, but really not that bad. Fun half-day adventure.
