Comments: First descent of SMC and lower falls. 5 hours car to car. We did a sneak approach on the logging road (47.54994, -121.70274) that brings you to SMC falls (47.55396, -121.70104), making for an easy bike then 30 min hike approach. Fresh downfall in canyon otherwise it was a great day in moderate flow. Plenty of anchor options at each rap and likely an escape from canyon at each rap, and an escape at the bridge, so this would be a great canyon for an early season and/or rainy day close to Seattle.
