Comments: No other anchors were found, so this was probably a first descent. Rappels are nice, but the creek is a little overgrown which was surprising given it clearly sees flood events from time-to-time. Fast-growing alpine vegetation? Water levels today were moderate / moderate-high. Not too bad, but slippery in places. After some scouting, we elected to bypass the R4-R5 sequence as it drops into a narrows from which escape might be difficult. Now that we've seen the bottom, we have a good plan for next time. We'll be back to run the last two properly. No sheep were encountered, but signs of elk (and lots of them) everywhere.
