Comments: Concur with another condition report that this is not a destination canyon. The short approach and views are excellent, but this is a cliffaneering route with a long exit. However, the route provides good introductory rappels and would be a great opportunity for practice. The final rappel in the crack was a nice end to the rappel sequence.

Comment: Not a destination canyon and compared to others in the area it was mostly disappointing to me. I would recommend others over this one but it did provide good fiddle stick practice and had some great views. A multi benched drop, each drop is less than 100 feet apart and each bench provides anchor options with some creativity. The 100 foot crack rappel at the end has a slightly tricky start if you use that tree near the edge. We found some webbing on a few of the benches but it was older and a bit crispy use caution. We were able to fiddle every drop without using any webbing. The walk though the granite section with a few easy downclimbs was the best part of the day.
