Comments: ~32 ML/d on gauge, very comfortable water level. Didn't feel like going under chokestone. Used new line on RR instead. Water temperature was very warm. I was boiling in 3mm wetsuit.

Comment: Styx River Guage at 88ML/day.
In high flow there are a number of aquatic features to negotiate. We used guided rappels and safety lines to navigate these. Be advised there is a cut out with undercut on the RR at the base of the main falls (last abseil R6) that should be avoided in high flow. R6 can place you behind the falls, be sure to exit to the river left. | |||||||
