Comments: Low flow conditions. Canyon is worth doing once... but given the dearth of canyons in the area I would not be making a special trip back to do it again. The post 2019 bushfire regrowth really turned us off what would have probably been a "good" quality trip.
Finishing at the dam allows you to enjoy the sun for a while and dry off some of your gear before heading home.
